It Started With the Two of Them

In 1999, Manuk and Talar began building something that would become more than a jewelry store.

What started with one jeweler and a lifelong devotion to his craft became a place where clients return for life's most meaningful moments, often bringing the next generation with them.

More than twenty-five years later, the same family is still here.

The Artisan

Manuk learned his craft where craft still means something — in the workshops of Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, where apprentices earn their place and shortcuts don't exist.

From there, he spent years in New York's Diamond District, setting stones for some of the industry's most respected designers. In 1999, he brought that standard to Atlanta and opened Luxor.

More than four decades later, the bench is still where it all begins.

Every custom piece that leaves this studio passes through Manuk — from the first conversation to the final inspection. He works with the discipline of traditional craftsmanship and the best tools available today, because the standard he set for himself at fifteen years old has never changed.

For Manuk, jewelry has never been about making something that looks right. It's about making something worth keeping.

When people say they can't find craftsmanship like this anymore, they haven't found Manuk yet.

The Heart of Luxor

Talar joined Luxor in 2008 and has been the warmth behind everything it is since.

A GIA-certified jewelry professional, she has a way of taking what can feel overwhelming — an engagement ring, an inherited stone, a gift for someone you love — and making it feel simple. She listens closely, asks the right questions, and has a quiet ability to turn what someone feels into something they can actually describe.

For Talar, it's never just about the jewelry. It's about the person choosing it and making sure they feel genuinely understood before anything else.

She also makes sure Manuk finishes your piece on time.

The Next Generation

Tara grew up in this studio, watching Manuk at the bench and Talar with clients, learning early that fine jewelry is as much about the people who wear it as the hands that make it.

A University of Georgia graduate with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, she brings a background in fashion, luxury, and brand experience to the family business. Today, she helps shape how Luxor is presented and experienced, bringing a fresh perspective to a house built on decades of craftsmanship and personal relationships.

For Tara, carrying Luxor forward means honoring everything her parents have built while introducing it to a new generation, making fine jewelry feel a little less daunting and a lot more personal.
