Every diamond we offer is carefully hand-selected with a focus on balance, beauty, and integrity. We prioritize exceptional cut, VS clarity and above, and refined color to ensure each stone meets our highest standards.
While the 4 C's provide a foundation, true beauty goes beyond a grading report. We look at how a diamond performs in light, its overall balance, and the subtle details that bring it to life.
Clarity Through Education
The 4 C's
Understanding the 4 C's is the foundation of choosing a diamond. Each element plays a role in how a diamond looks, feels, and reflects light, and together they create the full picture of its beauty.
CARAT - The unit weight measurement used to weigh diamonds and gems.
COLOR - Color measures how colorless a diamond is, from D (completely colorless and rare) to Z.
CLARITY - A measure of the purity and rarity of a stone. At Luxor, inclusions are seen as birthmarks, not flaws.
CUT - The most vital factor in brilliance. A well-cut diamond reflects light with precision and grace. It is the cut that brings the stone to life, influencing its brightness and sparkle.
CARAT
Carat weight is guided by your preference, however, we carefully balance size and proportion to create a look that feels elegant, intentional, and true to you.
COLOR
While color is thoughtfully selected based on each client’s vision, our in-store and custom pieces most often feature G color for its bright, refined appearance.
CLARITY
We carefully hand-select every diamond used in custom and ready-made pieces, choosing only VS1, VS2 clarity and above for their superior quality and lasting brilliance. For engagement ring diamonds, it all depends on you and your needs.
CUT
While every detail plays a role, cut is what gives a diamond its light. That is why we prioritize exceptional cut quality for maximum brilliance and beauty.
